Lovely as always, peaceful and relaxing. Everything you need is in walking distance. Clean amenities and friendly staff. We've been before and we'll be back again. However on this trip, a slightly disturbing observation was the decision made by supposedly responsible adults and worse still parents with children, to go swimming in the lake that was unfortunately contaminated with a blue green algae outbreak, well signposted as such by Ballina Council signs warning the public not to go swimming. Signs were posted at various entry points into the lake plus a large sign on the road in. Seriously some people should never be allowed to be parents but unfortunately as that saying goes, you can't cure stupid! Looking forward to our next visit.

Helpful staff, clean and well maintained amenities. Close walk to surf beach, and town. Borders Lake Ainsworth, a freshwater tea tree lake.

We haven't used our booking. The council closed the Lake due to blue green algae. As it was the attraction for camping there we rang to change our booking to later in the year when we would be able to kayak. We were told we could not and we would be forfeiting our money as it was under fourteen days notice. We had paid the total amount so we were naturally peeved. We acknowledge of course they can't control the algae, however we would have expected some consideration as the Lake is in their attraction to their camp ground. We will not be giving a good report to this Camp ground on any of the sites we visit, as we have never in the past been refused a refund. We would have been happy to forgo a booking fee I might add

Very nice park. Friendly staff accept for the cranky looking man on the ride on mower. Very clean amenities and park. Beautiful place.

Was awesome. Staff were very helpful and the amenities were on point. Great price too and was able to have the dog. Very happy with my stay.
